Description:

Role Summary: Manages the claims process, investigating reported losses, verifying coverage, and negotiating the final settlement amount with the claimant.

  • Key Responsibilities: Investigates reported claims (e.g., motor accident, property loss, health). Verifies that the loss is covered under the policy terms and determines the cause and extent of the damage. Negotiates the final settlement amount and authorizes the payout. Coordinates with surveyors and legal counsel to prevent fraud.

  • Ed. Qualification: Graduate degree. For Motor/Property claims, a Surveyor License or B.E./B.Tech is often mandatory. For Health/Life, a background in medical sciences or law is helpful.

  • Experience: 3–7 years of experience in claims investigation and settlement is essential.

  • Age Limit: 28–40 Years.

  • Selection Process: Written Test (Policy Law, Investigation Procedures). Practical Field Situation Test. Interview (Negotiation and Communication Skills).
