Role Summary: Responsible for risk selection, assessment, and accepting (or rejecting) applications for insurance policies based on the applicant's profile.
Key Responsibilities: Reviews individual or corporate insurance applications (for life, health, or property). Evaluates the risk profile of the applicant based on available data and medical reports. Determines the potential risk to the company and decides whether to accept the application and, if so, at what premium and terms.
Ed. Qualification: Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., LOMA, Associateship from Insurance Institute) is preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in underwriting or risk analysis is typically required.
Age Limit: 25–35 Years.
