Role Summary: An enforcement role responsible for implementing and monitoring public health, sanitation, and waste management standards within the municipal limits.
Key Responsibilities: Supervises Solid Waste Management (SWM) operations, including collection, transportation, and disposal. Inspects drainage systems and public places (markets, eateries) to enforce hygiene standards. Issues notices/fines for public nuisances and assists in controlling communicable disease outbreaks.
Ed. Qualification: Science Graduate (B.Sc.) or Diploma in Sanitary/Public Health Engineering. Certification from a relevant Public Health Board is often preferred.
Experience: None required (Freshers are often eligible), but prior fieldwork experience is a plus.
Age Limit: 21–30 Years.
Selection Process: Written Exam (Public Health, Waste Management Law). Physical Endurance Test (Mandatory for extensive fieldwork capability). Personal Interview.
