Key Responsibilities: Delivering lectures and seminars. Conducting original academic research and securing research grants. Publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Guiding student projects and dissertations. Engaging in departmental administrative and committee work.
Ed. Qualification: Master’s degree (with 55% marks) in the relevant subject + Must have cleared the NET/SLET/SET exam. A Ph.D. is highly desirable (and often mandatory for career progression).
Experience: Fresh NET/Ph.D. qualified candidates are eligible for the initial appointment.
Age Limit: No mandatory upper age limit in most Central Universities/Institutions.
Selection Process: Academic Score Weightage (Merit Screening). Interview Presentation (Focusing on research plan and teaching philosophy). Verification of Research Publications.
