Role Summary: Manages the school or university library, curates resource collections, and assists students and faculty with research and information access.
Key Responsibilities: Manages the acquisition, classification (cataloging), and maintenance of the library collection (books, journals, digital resources). Provides training to students and faculty on research tools, database usage, and accessing information ethically. Oversees library automation and security systems.
Ed. Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib.I.Sc. / M.Lib.I.Sc.). Knowledge of Digital Library Management and Computer Proficiency is mandatory.
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in library management, automation, or cataloging is preferred.
Age Limit: Typically 28–35 Years.
