Description:

Role Summary: The executive board-level role responsible for the utility's overall fiscal management, financial strategy, and long-term solvency.

  • Key Responsibilities: Leads the strategic financial planning and management of the entire utility. Secures large-scale capital funding for infrastructure expansion projects. Manages regulatory compliance related to tariffs (power rates), taxation, and reporting requirements. Oversees financial risk mitigation, internal audit functions, and prepares comprehensive annual financial statements.

  • Ed. Qualification: Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) OR hold an MBA/PGDM in Finance from a reputed institution.

  • Experience: Requires 15–20 years of progressive experience in the Finance function, including at least 5 years at a Senior Management/Executive level in a large PSU or corporate entity.

  • Age Limit: Typically 45–55 years (For senior executive hiring).
