Description:

Role Summary: Provides expert advice on food and nutrition to promote health and manage diet-related diseases in hospitals, clinics, or private practice.

  • Key Responsibilities: Assesses client nutritional needs based on medical history, blood tests, and lifestyle. Develops and implements highly personalized therapeutic meal plans (e.g., for diabetes, weight loss, kidney disease). Educates clients on healthy eating and cooking methods. Monitors outcomes and adjusts plans accordingly.

  • Ed. Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or Dietetics. Registration/Licensure with a national body (e.g., IDA - Indian Dietetic Association) is mandatory.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of clinical or professional experience in diet counseling.

  • Age Limit: 23–35 Years.

  • Selection Process: Written Exam (Clinical Nutrition, Biochemistry). Case Study Analysis (Creating a diet plan for a specific condition). Interview.
