Description:

Role Summary: The operational head of a bus depot or regional transport station, managing the fleet, maintenance, scheduling, and staff allocation for public buses.

  • Key Responsibilities: Manages the daily allocation and operation of the bus fleet. Supervises mechanical maintenance and servicing activities in the depot workshop. Controls fuel consumption, manages the schedule and duty allocation for all drivers/conductors, and ensures the depot meets its daily service targets.

  • Ed. Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or MBA/PGDM in Operations Management.

  • Experience: 8–15 years of senior operational and maintenance experience in a large transport or logistics facility.

  • Age Limit: 35–45 Years.

  • Selection Process: Experience Shortlisting. Written Exam (Operations Management, Fleet Maintenance). Board Interview (Leadership and Logistics).
